Hi all! Any Ace Combat fans out there?

Hi everybody, I just got a 360 and Ace Combat (that was the game that sealed PS3s fate as far as I am concerned) and played a little bit last night. This game is awesome! It is exactly like the previous iterations except with even better graphics! I also noticed the gun, while difficult to use with the unstable planes, seems to be more powerful than before, more like in Ace 4, and was effective far beyond the distance the gun pip shows up. I got Bronze Marksman after the second mission, pretty sweet!

I also really like the vast capacity of the planes for missiles and most special weapons, it makes the game seem a little more friendly for long missions, and makes up for the slightly more difficult to see targets.

4. If you ever get an Xbox or a PS2

the series is definitely worth playing. seriously, I still love playing the PS2 games even now that I have something stronger. That's the great thing about those long series that stick to their roots, they usually stay awesome long after the original platform is just a memory for most gamers.

Never have played any of the AC games but I do like that sort of game. Crimson Skies on the original XBOX was pretty good.

7. Don't hold your breath

I don't think it will ever come out on the Wii, packaging says only on Xbox. It was actually the determining factor for me in deciding between Xbox and PS3.
