i was wondering about using one of the Raid1 HD's for a dual boot VISTA 32 bit or XP 64 bit..?? and a partision as a backup for the VISTA 64 OS, if possable.

I couldn't even begin to offer a reason as to why you're having trouble other than maybe having 64-bit OS issues.
I'd take this to the respective games' support sites and see what the other players suggest, because unfortunately I'm clueless as to why that monster of a system is having trouble. Sorry. :(
