Great, my TV is broken..... |
|
I tried to turn on my TV and is just shut off and then started making this beeping noise, I have no idea what is wrong with it. I tried everything but it's looks pretty much done.
Now I can't play anything, I would go to the TV in the living room but there's always someone there using it and I like to play in a quite room where people aren't always entering and leaving. I can't afford a new TV so my only other option is my computer monitor. Is there someway I could hook up my Xbox to my computer monitor so I could play it on that? Has anyone else done this? how did you do it? and how would you get the sound working?

1. Dunno what kind of monitor you've got. |
|
Also monitors do not have audio but you might be able to get a headphone jack into someplace on the X-box. My personal advice would be to save up for that new TV...you ain't gonna be gaming for a while.

2. I don't have an XBox, but if it has an S Video connection you're good to go. |

You can get video cards for the pc that have an S Video connection. I used to watch tv on my monitor sometimes and that's how I did it.

3. Exactly what is the make/model of your TV and what were the exact circumstances? |
|
Has the picture been fading/losing color? Is this used exclusively as a gaming screen?
