Sam n Max Rumor: Latest PC Gamer says the sequel may live yet.
Though abandoned by LucasArts, a developer named Bad Brain may finish and release the game... I can only hope!

1. well,
That story ran a few months ago on the German game pages.
It is a so far unknown publisher that is apparently trying to buy almost all famous point'n click adventure licenses.

It might be vaporware or simply a scheme to get money quick.
So far there are only a few posts allegedly written by the bad brain CEO on a gaming forum, indicating a possible release of Sam'n Max II.
