Just discovered this group, even though I've been on DU for almost 2 years, I think. My disability is official "depression" but these days...I'm feeling pretty good on THAT score....the area that's going to seed is my medical health (hopefully this is temporary)-- 1 year of debilitating edema, horrible sciatica, most lately -- horrible gastro-intestinal problems (following the endoscopy and colonoscopy I received a few weeks ago)...I'm only 51 and I feel like an Altah Cackeh (old person)
Thanks for being here, anyway....
p.s. I don't like the fact that when I opened this page there was an AD for some Sleep Medication. Kinda Preying on the vulnerable...wouldn't you say????

:hi:
Sorry to hear about everything that's got you down. Hopefully you'll find this forum helpful.
The thing with the ads is that they respond to the topics and messages people post, which is why you'll end up seeing a lot of disability and drug related ads in this forum. If you donate to DU you can turn the ads off. Also if you have certain browsers (like Firefox) they'll block the ads for you.
