I know I'm pretty much a loner, but I thought that was a bit high.

3. Do those who have replied have Asperger's? |

I'm wondering since those scores don't sound "right" for Aspies.
Tucker, I took the test, too, even though I'm not an Aspie, and I got 16, close to the 16.4 median of the control group.
But I am a loner in many ways. I just can "do" social situations and new experiences because the circumstances of a childhood as a military brat made me learn. Or I should have been more extroverted but the experiences made me more of a loner, I'm not sure which.

5. I'm an Aspie, but . . . |
|
I can't do tests like this. I always have to take things like this to my employment specialist, explain to her what the real answers to the questions are, and have her tell me what an NT would expect me to fill in on the test, given the real answers.
People have been giving me these kinds of tests since I was small. (My teachers and parents insisted there was something wrong with me. When I was a senior in high school, my father was diagnosed as having a brain tumor, and while I was in college, my mother was diagnosed with whatever the current name is for paranoid delusional disorder. Oh, yeah, I was the sick one.) I've always been sent squirrely by them, and no one has any patience for that. I got in huge trouble at work for refusing to fill out a self-evaluation form. I told them that the answers would be meaningless because of being random, and I didn't have time to waste on a meaningless exercise.
In short, I'm saying that perhaps the test itself is not a good idea for Aspies. If you're an Aspie, you may well not be able to take the test.

Would anyone like to provide a link so that I can learn more?
Thanks in advance. :-)
