Anyone else get an SSI review |
|
It wasn't much, they are more interested in my finances, not, in my physical condition. I've had to fill one of these out before, it's been several years, but, it seemed to come pretty quick after the latest theft.

when I got the letter yesterday, I knew it wasn't a new award letter, it was too thick. I'm afraid that when they start the next round of winnowing, they are'nt going to be too concerned over medical condition, and I'm trying to come up with an alternative way to make a living, but, given the problems that ordinary people face, plus my age, so far I'm drawing a blank on salable skills.

4. My panic level goes up too, but this time it was good news. |
|
I was terrified when I looked at my letter this time, but so far all I've gotten is a letter telling me I'm getting more money. Which is good, but I'm still bracing myself to lose it all in the current political climate.

No idea. I'm unfortunately very poorly versed on this area of government, and wouldn't mind learning but I have a lot of cognitive problems with certain kinds of abstractions. This kind of government systems are exactly that kind of abstraction.
All I know is that I used to get SSI, I now get something else and don't even know what precisely it's called, but due to some obscure regulation I'm still on Medicaid instead of Medicare. Beyond that, I'm clueless except for knowing these systems are among the ones that if they go, I go, basically.

and some of the questions are so off the wall(even church is mentioned!). When they do have questions about your inabilities they give you a whopping line or two. Meds too. They have no idea how many meds some people have to take on a daily basis. Another pip is "describe your average day". Who ever has an average day????????
