1. I was very fortunate, I got approved right away |
and with only a 1 month lapse between state and federal benefits checks. Yet the woman in the story sounds no more able to work than me, and she was denied twice and put through all that hell? There's something very wrong with the system.

2. I am hoping that when I can't work anymore |
My documentation and my support from my doctors is enough.
Is anyone else upset about the use of "Unfit" to work instead of "Unable" to work?

3. Not surprised at all. I had 3 doctors say I was disabled and 5 feet of records |
with 18 different things wrong, both mental and physical it still took me 2 years to get approved. For my son who is neurologically impaired it took 2 months. There is no rhyme or reason to it.
