A poem by Dick Sobsey who specializes in documenting abuse of disabled people, the end of which I'm printing here: That's long ago and far away. It couldn't happen here today. We would never just standby And watch a helpless child die...
What's that you say? I didn't know Candace Taschuk? Baby Doe? There days were numbered just a few: But was there something we could do? Could we save them? Did we try? Or is it us who just stand by? The rest is at the bottom of this page: http://www.ualberta.ca/~jpdasddc/abuse/ICAD/digests/vol1no17.html

Kick the asses of all the people standing by.
I hate the willing ignorance of this human society.I really hate the way bullies in humanity are so excused for their cruelty, everyone falls over themselves to excuse these fucking socciopaths..because they don't wanna think so and so really has NO consiernce..and I also hate how the people who enable the bullies to have "authority"and "power"..Just so standby assholes ,with their learned helplessness wallowing in denial and the disinterested fuck heads among us do not have to ever feel personally responsible for other's well being, for their moral omissions, or for their chronically cowardly turning away while some "other" person who has been labeled less than human, a person deemed not worth loving or unworthy of life is murdered, beaten, rendered voiceless, victimized, demoralized to suicidal despair,or crushed before their open eyes..and closed up hearts.
Too many humans in this culture are encouraged to suck and they don't care that they suck, and they don't give a shit that our culture is so sick, because no one "in power" makes them care, so they don't care..they become just as cold as their sociopath masters.
