| I need a new, BLUE shampoo |

I'm switching from Pantene.
I've got thick, wavy hair.
Suggestions?

| 1. I love the cheapo Costco house brand shampoo! |

I think it's just called "Kirkland salon style" or something -- it comes in a GIANT plastic bottle with a very convenient pump on it, which is $6 or so gets you LOTS! I have a 10 & 14 y/o daughter so between the three of us we go through LOTS of shampoo and conditioner.
Also great for multi-girly-girl housholds are the maidenform bras ($20 for a 2 pack!) and camisoles, and the Revlon 2-step mascara in the 3-pack.

I live in Iowa, and I got some great product from the store that was actually made by some people in Cedar Rapids. Good stuff, too.

I've tried to find some local stores, without much luck. I finally gave up and bought Aveda products this time around, but I am keeping my eyes peeled for more inexpensive products. Don't get me wrong, I really like the Aveda products, and may ultimately decide to stay with them, but I have a hard time paying $13 for shampoo and $12 for conditioner!

But these are two links about making your own natural shampoos (and other hair-care treatments): http://www.kitchencraftsnmore.net/bath4.htmlhttp://naturallycurly2.com/curlscene/entry.php?id=287&entrytype=articles-wildflower ON EDIT: www.pioneerthinking.com is also a neat site for this kind of thing.
