I don't think they have a Union but the employees there are paid well and get good benefits too.

I always shopped there some but since joining the buy blue movement I do just about all my grocery shopping there. Not only are they "blue" but they carry "blue" foods; organics, naturally grown, grass-fed beef, etc. etc. made by "blue" companies; You won't find a bunch of giant corporation product lines there, either. Lots of small, organic companies and imported foods. Their prices are good and even less in some cases than regular grocery-store food. They're great. I don't know what I'd do without em'.

| 6. wish we had 'em in Texas |
|
when I lived in CA and MA I would go there to pick up my olive oil, nuts, dried fruits, some cheeses, Balance bars, frozen appetizer thingies for parties, candies, cakes, high-quality frozen veggies... mmmm... last time I was in CA I did a TJ's run! good prices, quality stuff, blue company - what more can you ask?
Well, this: "HEY TJ'S -- HOW ABOUT A COUPLA STORES IN TEXAS? HOUSTON COULD REALLY USE YA!"
