I'm going to cross link the thread on local food buying over there.
The only problem with the groups is that sometimes we miss great, relevant stuff posted in another group. I like the idea of cross linking.

We all know how expensive the deli dept is.
If you find the small "chunks" of ham, turkey, or chicken on sale, the deli will slice it up into sandwich meat if you ask.
Oh, and I noticed that Velveeta 16 slice individually packaged slices was running close to $4.00...$4.00!!!!! You can instead buy the uncut block, have the deli slice some of it and use the rest for a casserole, mac & cheese, or whatever.
