1. Thanks, I for one hadn't seen it. |
|
That was very encouraging!
In the "Democrats" link, Edwards was shown in the poll to have the largest "favorable" percentage and the lowest "unfavorable" among the top three.
I don't know if I can stand much more waiting. It's driving me crazy.

3. You said it. This is going to be a damned long 4 days. And probably very |
|
intense out in Iowa, too. I hope we hear back from Rocky and the others so we can get an inside peek at what's happening.
I love the Edwards bumpersticker in your sig field. It's sharp.

2. yes, just read the McClatchy poll. |

If McClatchy says it, I'm inclined to go with it.

Thanks.
President John Edwards. Has a nice ring to it.

4. Hi, Ms. November. Yes. McClatchy has done us proud this year. |
|
The other media outlets could learn a thing or two from McClatchy.

5. This part is especially important |
|
"The second tier is particularly important in Iowa’s Democratic caucuses, where a candidate can win delegates only if they register at least 15 percent support in each town hall-like precinct meeting. Voters whose candidates don’t make that threshold can support someone else.
As of now, that appears to help Edwards.
If all second-tier Democratic candidates fall short and their supporters switch to other candidates, Edwards gains the most, rolling up a clear lead at 33 percent to 26 percent each for Clinton and Obama."

7. Yes! It's very encouraging. I think John Edwards is strong going in to |
|
January 3rd and could walk out of Iowa even stronger.
I'm psyched!

8. Your doctor is prescribing appropriate medicine for whatever it is you have, |
|
and we'll throw in some good vibes to go along with that firewater!
Get better! There's a real hot headline about to happen in the Hawkeye State with John Edwards' name in it!

17. Thank you OC. It's been a very long time since Jack Daniels has been called into duty. I will be |
|
sure to capture my fair share of "rays" bouncing off the "hot headline" out of the Hawkeye State and looking forward to that happening.
It will be sure to provide all of us with a welcomed and much needed dose of hopefulness.

16. Hey there, nutmegger. Yep -- we got us a barnburner out in the Iowa |
|
countryside with this election. What I wouldn't give to see some internal polling for all the candidates.
That would be a vivid peek into Thursday's outcome.
But I'm getting a real good vibe for that nice Mr. Edwards fellow.

As Representative Bruce Braley would say: "It's going to be a bin buster!" http://youtube.com/watch?v=RNViIVPEUHII am nothing but positive about Thursday ... and beyond!

22. "Bin buster" works for me. I got to briefly meet Braley when I was in Cedar |
|
Falls. He's a good man. And he speaks WITH the audience and not TO them. A real, nice touch, and a genuine instinct. Nothing fake about him at all.
When he introduced John Edwards, he praised him for "marrying up." Braley said he did the same thing. It's good local politics to praise both wives, even as their husbands are the candidates. There were quite a few heads nodding and faces grinning during that passage, and then John and Elizabeth came in, and the place went wild.
If we can have us some luck in Iowa on Thursday, I think the road beyond that gets brighter and better.

I hope he cleans their clock in the process of winning the Iowa caucus! I want Brit Hume to go home on January 3rd with a pounding headache!

25. Honestly, even if John Edwards weren't in the race I'd want Brit Hume to go home with a pounding |
|
headache - if I had the money, I'd pay a marching band to camp outside of his house. That being said, I want Edwards to win so big in Iowa, that all of his haters, here on DU and elsewhere, are forced to eat all the horrible words they've spoken about him.

26. I'm REALLY enjoying the marching band idea outside Brit Hume's house. |
|
In fact, how about TWO marching bands, playing different playlists in different styles and rhythms, simultaenously and LOUD?
For a finale, just as Brit's head is throbbing, they could form the phrase "FAIR AND BALANCED" on his front lawn.

27. Two marching bands is even better and the fair and balanced thing is great. |
|
Maybe we can get an elementary school orchestra to follow him around on the weekend when he runs errands, too. So many possiblities. I think I'm going to run out and play the lottery. All it takes is a dollar and a dream.

20. Hi, Catchawave, and thank you for that link. You know as well as I do how |
|
Edwards has been putting in stellar performances in the media interviews and appearances.
At what point do the media-types sit back to themselves and say, "Geez, this guy is the real thing. I've never seen anybody this prepared to run for the White House." ?
