1. A win in Iowa would boost him to 1st place in N.H. |

In which case, I'll try hard not to be smug over in GDP. But it won't be easy.

One of the biggest ways to help is to volunteer some of your time to phone banking or canvassing for the Edwards' campaign - honest. I've just spent the week-end doing both & really hated it but right this minute, after answering questions and even winning over some undecideds, it's a great feeling. I'm in Iowa where it's really crazy right now. Convincing even a couple people in my precinct to caucus for Edwards is big.
Your primary may not be for a while yet, but believe me, they're already making calls & knocking on doors. I challenge all Edwards' supporters to call their local headquarters & volunteer!!

But, being in the Military (Plus stationed overseas) pretty much precludes me from every kind of political involvement with the exception of donations and forums like DU. But, I applaud you for volunteering!

6. Yes. I think the polling numbers in NH are rising as well as in Iowa. |
|
If the surge in Iowa support can continue for the next 48 hours, I think John Edwards will win the Iowa caucus Thursday night.
And this weekend's crowds in Iowa sure looked psyched up for a win.
