I encourage everyone who supports Edwards and is also on Kerry's |
|
mailing list to do as I have done, and unsubscribe.
I followed that up by sending a message through Kerry's site telling him how disappointed I am with his poor decisions. As if it wasn't enough that he didn't fight for us after the 2004 elections by making sure all votes mattered, he also isn't standing up for change this time.
I told him the status quo was not acceptable to the American people any longer, and that he and his candidate represent a continuation of the status quo.
I felt better after sending it. If he gets enough cancellations after this message, I think he'll get the message. ;)

I don't care about the endorsement part, JRE probably dodged a bullet
BUT, it does feel like Kerry cheated on me. I worked so hard for Kerry-Edwards, and this is the thanks I get. Geesh.

3. I just sent him a message |

Then I unsubscribed with him. Pisses me off that he didn't think enough of John's efforts. Maybe John DID dodge a bullet. Who knows. Again, Kerry's pitched his medals in a futile gesture.

Whether you unsubscribe or not, please be nice to the KerryCrats here at the DU and DK concerning this event. Some of them are still undecided about whom to back, and a few have moved over to our camp.
I told the Kerrycrats that I thought the timing and the place for the endorsement were odd, but I wasn't angry. We knew Kerry would back someone else besides JRE for some time. But I also said my support for Edwards was very strong and I would not back other candidates.
JRE was a class act today in his statement, and I think we should be like him and Elizabeth. Let's take the high road.

5. Thought this was beyond wrong by JK- |
|
It's like what Randi Rhodes said at this point, "It's like Sinjaya (Sp?) endorsing someone for American Idol."
Honestly, I didn't like Kerry much in 04, and most of my support was because of JRE.

I just unsubscribed myself from you mailing list - I feel that you did a great disservice today to John Edwards. especially since you announced your endorsement in the state that he was born. You may have had your differences, but what happened today was just plain uncalled for and spiteful. I thought you had class and integrity, obviously, I was wrong.

Boy, this was the last straw for me, when I found this message in my e-mail today! I expressed my disgust that he was not only disloyal, but has failed a second time to stand up for the American people and our democracy at a time of serious peril to our nation! :grr:

I was really steamed to see that in my inbox today, and further steamed that it took me many, many tries to get a message through (if you go through the email www.johnkerry.com all you get is directed to Google gmail, for which you must sign up and get an account. Is Kerry a Google tool too?
Anyway, I made some comments similar to those expressed here. And I also added that Yalies and Bonemen must all stick together against the voice of the people. No offense to anyone on this site who is a Yalie, but really, don't they teach anything about class there? I mean about manners, not the 'have and have-more' stuff of you know who's base.

13. Well, I think a lot of people had the same idea, as I've received several E-mails |
|
from friends telling me that they also unsubscribed from Kerry's mailing lists.
A quick search of Edward's blog also has more of the same.
Kerry's list is much smaller tonight than it was this morning. Kerry is a disgrace.
