I just talked to someone at CNN...

I asked them if they had heard about the new Zogby numbers that showed John Edwards pulling ahead of Hillary in South Carolina. They put me through to the news desk. I read this paragraph to them from Zogby's site...

"Edwards, meanwhile, has had his second good day since the Monday night CNN debate, in which he delivered a strong performance. He hit 19% support on Tuesday alone and then 27% support on Wednesday alone. And, on Wednesday alone, he pulled ahead of Clinton overall."

They were very interested. Said they hadn't heard it yet and asked me again where I read that. I told them it was on Zogby's site under the headline "Edwards makes gains amid shifting voter preferences." They said they would check it out.

I think they liked the part about this occurring after the CNN debate. I hope they cover this!

I called MSNBC, too, but had to leave a message. Sent an email to the Today Show. Cross your fingers.

I'm phoning SC, through the Edwards online phone program. Interesting people there, and I've gotten some good responses. Some people have brought up the debate without prompting. (No, I don't stick strictly to the script; I like to get into conversations with people if possible)

Anyway, I'm going to be a wreck on Saturday! Wish I could be in SC working.

I think the "third day of a three day poll" was too nuanced for them. Of course, if Zogby had said that Hillary was pulling ahead of Obama, they'd be all over it.
