Checking in from SC and the Edwards field office in Charleston

Hey Edwardians !

Danny Glover spoke at the Ironworkers Union and fired up tons of people. Glover's passion and advocacy for Edwards is deep and long standing. Edwards has supported for years, Glover's foundation in support of workers in the hospitality field.

Here is what Glover said:

For the past several years, Edwards has visited with Glover, hundreds of facilities to talk with the workers. Glover said that Edwards never had an interest in stopping into upper managements office to press the flesh. Edwards was all business and only interested in the workers....

Doing the right thing when nobody was looking......no reporters or photographers or CNN or MSNBC.....

Tomorrow night in Charleston there will be a huge rally and event for Edwards. James Lowe and others will be at the event along with John. The Charleston field office has been shooting off press releases at the rate of 3 a day, for the last week. And Reuters, the cable networks and others have just picked the event up and we think it is due to Edwards movement upward, since Monday, in the polls.

There has been a run on Edwards lawn signs - which is a VERY good thing. Big visibility events all over SC today and with the rally tomorrow, should feed the growing energy.

It is so hard to gauge the sentiment. It is only human nature to see something that may be a mirage, and think it is a mountain. Wishful thinking sometimes clouds the vision.

It is safe to say, we just don't know.

Please pray for success. As I tell voters, it is too early to pick a candidate, so keep the excitement going, and vote for Edwards.

Thanks for what you are doing and thanks for the reports. It IS having an effect down there. I'm see it in the polls and in the comments from people on some South Carolina sites. The tide is changing!
