Many teachers I know preferred to teach in a John Edwards America.

That's not to say they won't do a great job as teachers no matter what, but they were especially delighted and inspired by Edwards' opposition to standardized testing as a litmus gauge for classroom instruction or teacher assessments.

I agree with Edwards (and Boniors) on this particular issue especially, and I think these teachers know what they're talking about.
