Thanks for the heads-up! The issue of federally required sick leave -- like health care -- has been perennially been given lip service in Congress & then tabled over and over. And like health care, we lag behind virtually every other advanced nation when it come to providing families with this most basic of social safety nets.

2. It will continue to be "tabled" until we care enough to demand it.

Look at the few responses.

It's simply not a priority with progressives.
