What y'all gonna do with y'alls reparation check?

Since the white folks are so riled up about this issue and a number have stated with great certainty that it would not make a difference, and seem to conceptualize it as a super welfare check -- this got me thinking: well, what would happen if the US paid reparations to me?

I realized that if it was generous enough, given the way this country is heading, I'm sad to say I would use it as a grub stake to emmigrate to South Africa or Brazil to start over in a rational country that has some hope of resolving its racial issues, and that is not at war or threatening war with a half dozen countries and whose currency is not about to plummet.

What would you do?

We'll never get reparations. The original wealth of the country is based on slavery. The worth can't even be calculated.

Hell's bells, the Bureau of Indian Affairs knows exactly how much they're supposed to pay the American tribes, and they still manage not to pay a damn cent.
