some blacks will be embarassed by the behavior of the blacks in NO but I'm certainly not. What the hell do you expect? I heard some talking head drone on about how naturally agressive the 'urban poor' are anyway so... My TV is not on.

7. Oh, there are people who agree with them

This evening I was listening to a conservative talk radio host ask whether there was racism during the Hurricane Katrina aftermath.

And the bozos who called in.

One caller said that had white people been in the Superdome, they would have been more patient and respectful until help had arrived. (I translated that to: Black folk are violent and ungrateful....)

Another caller said that Jesse Jackson was racist because he was advocating special treatment for a minority community.

And the talk show host added more fuel to the fire by saying the lack of preparation was the fault of the black NOLA mayor, the Democrat LA governor the Democratic LA government, and the Feds had little to do with the problem. And he said he took issue if anyone blamed Bush.

And there is population that agrees, as I sadly learned this evening.
