| Why so many threads on the Sarah/Letterman crap? |
|

But this thread about the racist piece of shit talking about the first lady is pretty quiet? I know I haven't been here much, but I didn't see any outrage about this. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x8475266

| 2. "Sisterhood" has always been conditional |

as Tim Wise so aptly notes here: http://www.lipmagazine.org/~timwise/sisterhood.htmlAlso, the silence says it all. :(

| 3. To keep up faux outrage?! Personally I was on her side about it. |
|
Not towards the end, because then it turned into a circus. But early on I was offended by what Letterman stated and I wasn't cool with his first apology either and I had to agree with Palin that he was making light of something that seriously affected her. Of course she could have been playing pity victim, however I would have thought the same thing and felt the same way early on.
People just want a reason to be angry. If this happened to HRC---there would be on end in sight if it was crack made by someone like Glen Beck or something. Until he made a public apology as well and not one half assed.

| 4. And you won't see any outrage. I guess that's why I cease to |
|
be outraged about certain issues.
