When not on DU, has anyone gotten a totally opposite reaction to the |

Obama win of the Nobel that you didn't expect? Positive or negative?
There's a local anchor here in San Diego and he's a big old republican dude on what use to be a Fox affiliate, so he's had many years with no problem showing disdain or expressing his sarcastic feelings for Dems. He still sneaks them in. I mean this anchor actually got all misty eyed during Obama's inauguration when Bush appeared and said, "Wow, time really flies. I'm gonna miss him." I almost threw up.
Anyway, I was expecting pure hatred when he had to announce Obama's win but he said, "Man, this is such a great honor for the country." I was stunned :wow:

he was realy going to miss bush? Must be wacky! LOL!
I'm surprised he had that reaction, I guess some republicans do just love the country?
The reactions from the people I know personally, were all positive. I'm sure those who didn't have anything nice to say, would keep it to themselves.. around me anyway.

starting to distance themselves from their nutty brethren.
