| Did anyone poll whites for the last 42 presidents on whether they were thrilled or not? |

How could ANYONE deny Obama is being held to a higher standard than any other president? If you haven't seen it, here's the article I'm talking about: http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/12/29/race.relations.poll/index.html

Apparently, even "strongly approving" of this President is not enough. Unless Negroes are moon-walking in the streets (even almost a full year later), there is room for "concern" from the mainstream media as well as apparently some "well meaning" DUers. :eyes:
And you are absolutely right -- there is no rational, thinking person with even the barest modicum of fairness who does not realize that this President is being held to a completely different set of standards. The entire rest of the world recognizes this as well.
Edit: Oh, and as for the low numbers of blacks who felt that Obama's election would usher in a new era in race relations, after seeing the idiocy on this board, from the teabaggers, from the Republicans in Congress and in DC, and from members of the "liberal" blogosphere, that should come as no surprise to ANYONE.

| 6. Again today, someone posted that *many* of their friends refer to Obama as an Uncle Tom |
|
He's got a 90% approval rating among AAs. Where do these people hang out?

| 3. Is that not crazy? I saw that article and just shook my head. |

What the hell is 'thrilled'. Doesn't thrilled mean something different to darn near everybody?
Somebody asked earlier if African American's are supposed to break out in song and dance at the mere mention of the Presidents name?
One thing about us.....we're used to BS being tossed our way. We were happy that the first AA President was elected, but we weren't delusional enough to believe issues of race were over!
Idiots.

thrills are for roller coaster rides or haunted houses. :eyes:
Another sad article by people that don't have a clue about the racial caste system of this society. :(
