I feel privileged to be around so many smart, well-traveled and educated folks. And by education I mean book AND street wise (shoot sometimes the second one has more weight and meaning than the first).

Happy New Year. It is hot as hell here. We took our three year old to the pool yesterday in her new swimsuit. She was so beautiful but I still have to shake my head. After all this time, it still just seems WRONG for it to be hotter than hell in December. :)
