GRAND FORKS, N.D. — An airman at Grand Forks Air Force Base is facing child pornography charges after he was stopped Dec. 30 trying to enter Canada.
A base spokesman, Staff Sgt. James Croxon, would not identify the 20-year-old airman, citing the ongoing investigation.
The airman, who was stopped at the Pembina border crossing, allegedly had a movie on his laptop with images of child pornography.
“Air Force agencies and base officials are cooperating with Canadian authorities to ensure the airman’s rights are maintained,” base officials said in a statement.
