good news and bad news from my local dems re delegate

the good news is that my ward party would be happy to support me as a gore delegate, even tho they are supporting obama. the bad news is that they tell me that the candidate must be declared. so.....
they do have an open slating meeting coming up, and i do intend to go to that, and ask for support for al.
they actually are small d dems, and will be happy that people are engaged in the process. they said the number of signatures will be a snap, and they will be happy to help me get them.

In Michigan, the delegate selection process doesn't even start until sometime during the winter, so I'm on hold.

i'm going to the aflcio candidates forum. should be interesting.
