We believe that NOW is the time to focus our efforts on persuading Al Gore to run for The Presidency of the United States. Originating in Iowa, home of the Iowa caucuses, this is an event that reaches across America to unite the many voices who share in the mission to persuade Al Gore to accept our challenge. To achieve our goal of getting Gore to run, a combination concert and rally will be held at the Hoyt Sherman Place Performing Arts Center in Des Moines, Iowa, on Oct. 21st.

Apparently - the 10/21 event has been changed to 11/11. Will be trying to arrange it with work and other interested peeps in my western suburb of Chicago area. Any one else thinking of going? Tickets are not available yet on Ticketmaster - but it seems the event starts at 10 am that Sunday morning.
