Am I the only one getting more pessimistic about November?

Granted, I'm a glass-half-empty kind of person, but I think both Clinton and Obama are going to come out of these primaries so bloodied and battered by each other that McCain's going to start with a heavy advantage. And I know so many stupid people who, regardless of what they profess, once inside the voting booth will not pull a lever for either a woman and/or a minority member.

I have such a feeling of dread, and it's increasing by the day. Our country needs Al Gore, and needs him badly.

Someone talk to me and keep me from hitting panic level altogether...

I'm feeling the same way you are. I'm really trying to hang on through pure faith in the ultimate good of the universe these days - that somehow, someway we will get Al Gore as a candidate. If not him, John Edwards. If not him, well there are dozens better than the two we are left with at this point. I really don't care how it happens. We just need something to save us.

Don't panic! Hillary won OH, TX and RI. We are getting closer to a brokered convention - our best chance for an Al Gore candidacy!
