I still think there might be a chance for Gore. I am betting all dollars that tonight was a testing ground to see how far the party has split, and what that could mean for the future. If it is beyond all reconciling, he may just consider...

I wish I could share your optimism about Gore's role in the upcoming administration... I just don't see it as a possibility any longer. Not to say I wouldn't like to be astoundingly and pleasantly surprised to be found wrong!

We are so lucky to have him and Dean as leaders of our Party. So very lucky to have such selfless individuals working toward the greater good.
