Save your own kids, but leave us alone

I don't always agree with every move the people at Gwinnett County Public Schools make, but this week they're fighting a good fight.
On Tuesday, Loganville mother Laura Mallory continued her mission to ban the Harry Potter books from school libraries, this time appealing her case to the state Board of Education. To its great credit, the Gwinnett County school board is resisting Mallory's efforts at every turn.

I tried reading the first book in the series, but I don't really like fantasy novels, so it bored me. It did not offend me, it just bored me, and I chose not to finish it.
And that's the lesson people who attack the First Amendment will never understand. This is not about the content of the Potter books. It is about choice.
