Nothing important here just a nice TV moment.
I've been watching old B5 episodes on Hulu and over lunch I finished watching "The Parliament of Dreams"
Part of the plot of the episode is that the station is hosting a sort of cultural festival where all the races were to make presentations demonstrating their dominant religious beliefs. At the end of the episode the commander finally presents the Human demonstration. It is a long line of people, you don't even see the end, each representing a different culture, religion, belief system. He escorts the assembled diplomats and starts just introducing each person standing in line and what group they represent.
Now it might not be great that atheism was lumped in with religion but it was a pretty cool representation and it was pretty nice that the Atheist was the first in line to be introduced! ;)

if I were going to adopt any of the religious practices on the show, it would be the Centauri's. They really knew how to party!

that festival the Centauri celebrated on that episode was a commemoration of the genocide they perpetrated on another race that once lived on their home world.
