| I think I'll coin a term for some types. |

Mostly seen in... well, you know where.
The Lifelong Atheist But (Disingenia pseudoatheisti) or LAB for short. Closely related to the Lifelong Democrat But (Disingenia pseudosinestra democrati) and the Lifelong Liberal But (Disingenia pseudosinestra liberali) that you often see calling in to C-SPAN.

Guess I better provide some of that all-important CONTEXT!!!
Frankly, those 2 just piss me off. I haven't read all their works, since I am an atheist and believe I have a finite life-span.
But Wallis always seems to be trying to yank non-believers into his obscurantist liberal-Xian camp, and ex-nun Armstrong never met a religious belief she doesn't like (at least among the Bronze Age Goatherding Religions). I suspect Armstrong is really an atheist, but doesn't want to say so because it would hurt book sales.
There are many people qualified to speak for atheists - i.e., all of us who claim the title. But those pompous blowhards should just STFU on that subject and stick to wowing believers with their song-and-dance.
I don't want a "relationship with the faith community," or whatever it is they're selling this week. If I wanted that, I'd go to church.

| 4. I used to like Jim Wallis |

when I was a Christian, I subscribed to Sojourners, and everything.
But while I fully appreciate the liberal christian movement, it would seem to me that something should be immediately obvious. If you can make the exact same religion sit on polar opposite sides of a given issue, what does it say about the religion?
Sorry, I forgot, NTS :eyes:

Two genera of family Dissimulidae.
That particular species is Swearimnota racisti kukuxklanis.
