http://theresponseusa.com/Looks like a lot of time and resources have been put into something which will yield no tangible results.

| 4. I never understood that phrase: God helps those who help themselves |
|
If we're helping ourselves, where does God even fit in?

About the Sinton, Tx. Butter Churn. Benjamin Franklin said it, but for some reason, Xians love quoting it as scripture and get flustered when you point out to them that it isn't. And you guys are right; it does depict a god that's rather off-hands with his creation. If only. The Judeo-Christian gawd is the biggest neurotic, micro-managing control freak in the history of deity creation.

I think that IS the point of the saying.
Phrase it like this: "Hmmmm. The people that God 'helps' always seem to be the ones who can help themselves..."
Or maybe just this: "Yup. 'God' helps those who help themselves" ;)
