Lease negotiation update- not gonna happen!

Such a roller coaster ride. Just when we were about to sign away, the city put the brakes on our location. They say there's not enough parking. This was on Friday, we were shocked.

On Sunday we got an email from another building owner in our town who wants us in HIS space. His building is beautiful- tall cielings (12+ feet high), huge arched windows, tin tile cieling, brick walls. OK, so at the moment there is a hole-in-the-wall video store in the location, drop cielings, dirty carpet, plastic-ish wall lining. But we know the gem that lies underneath as the other 2/3 of the building has been remodeled.

The original site was basically a metal shed with a storefront.

One door closes as another opens!!

Atmosphere is important at your kind of establishment, I think. You want folks to hang around, want to meet there, etc. I hope it works out for you! Looking forward to more updates!
