Good books on starting a small business?

My wife is looking for good books on the basics of starting her own small business. She would probably prefer something fairly short, as she is a very fast learner... she's not interested in an 800 page book that goes into great detail & depth on every single issue.

She's a very good businesswoman, but she's getting tired of saving her company millions of dollars and getting little reward.

Any suggestions on a book or two for her to read?

Because my wife is from China, she'd likely be working with her extensive network of friends & former business associates back there to import something from China. (her whole family except me is still back there...) She just has to decide what she wants to import & how.

I just did that for the same reason and ordered several books to get me started.
