Hello, I was a small business owner from 4/2005 through 3/2011. I owned a franchise, advertising in Womens Press, Dex Phone book, out and about coupons, church bulletins,Angies list, Remodeling shows. The economy crushed us like so many others connected to housing. The worst part of my advertising experience has been Yellowbook. Their reviews on complaint websites accurately describe how they operate. I met with their salesperson in 9/09 yet they have added 08 to my charges. I closed in 2/10 and they charged me for 2011.... The sales contract they forwarded me had 3 types of writing, I received no color proofs or page proofs..... I have complaints to the BBB, Federal Trade Commission and 2 Attorney Generals offices. Be careful with your advertising budget, and don't spend a dime with these people.

Organic search engine optimization is the new Yellow Pages.
If you're not spending what you used to spend on the Yellow Pages on SEO, you're gonna lose the game. Plain and simple.
