USA's '4400' Returns to Earth in June

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) USA Network's highly rated series "The 4400" is starting production on its second season and will return to the cable network in June.

The show, about 4,400 people presumed missing or dead who return to Earth looking exactly as they did when they disappeared, is scheduled to premiere Sunday, June 5. It will pick up six months after the events of the first season, with Homeland Security agent Tom Baldwin (Joel Gretsch) having been reinstated to his job and continuing to investigate the returnees with partner Diana Skouris (Jacqueline McKenzie).

Meanwhile, would-be 4400 leader Jordan Collier (Billy Campbell) has published a book about the abductees containing some rather controversial allegations about the group.

1. Second Season?

2. It first aired as a limited run mini-series.

USA picked it up for a complete second season. So they now consider the six episode mini-series season 1.

5. Finally had a chance to see an episode of the new season

Seems pretty good so far. I watched the episode with the telepathic BBall player. Only had a small prob with it. When the lead male (bad with names, haha) promises the bball player that he'll help...wtf? That was lame...all he could really do was promise to TRY to help. Ended up being a moot point anyway since they both got screwed by the higher-ups, but it still annoyed me. :)

I was so excited when it came back on but does anyone know how long it's going to run? Will it be six eppies like last year?

so I'm guessing it's going to be another mini-series again? I love the whole premise of the show, it's got that X-Files, X-men thing to it.


I have similar idea that I am writing but I'm trying to get some legs on it.
