Hello all,

I got Season one of the original Star Trek as a xmas gift. Needless to say a fantastic gift for me.

I'm enjoying it no end however, I'm watching "Shore Leave" right now and I noticed something I hadn't noticed on any of the other episodes (Disks 1-3 watched so far).

Some scenes I remember have been cut. Sulu finding an old revolver (Kirk even mentions Sulu finding a gun) is cut, also the scene with the tiger, we see Sulu, Spock and Kirk hearing the roar but then they cut right to the scene where McCoy is ridden down by a knight.

Anyone else here have these DVD's and noticed this? Are any of the other episodes cut up like that?

1. Just checked my copy of Shore Leave from the Season 1 set

Check this: Sulu finds the revolver around minute mark 11. The tiger is seen once by two lowly crewmembers at about minute mark 25. Kirk, Spock and Sulu hear the tiger around minute 29. They split up to find it and then comes the cut to McCoy, the girl and the knight.

I have the yellow, blue and red plastic box sets...Is that what you have?
