BSG Finale Commentary 3/10/06 (Don't read if you're not watching)

1. There's no way...

...no way I'm going to make it until October!

So much to say, so much to think about, so many possibilities for the writers - or rather more importantly the characters! I don't even know where to start at this point except to say...FanFrackinTastic! Well except for having to wait so long before seeing what happens next.

2. BSG entered uncharted territory last night

Thankfully we have Doctor Who to look forward to and keep us happy until October rolls in.

I posted this in the lounge in another tread talking about BSG's long delay and Dr Who.

I'm not a Dr Who fan. Not because it isn't a good show I just never got hooked. I saw parts of episodes when I was very very young on PBS and it intregued me but in a confussed way. :) But I guess the combination of the schedule it had on PBS and the fact that my young mind wasn't quiet ready I just never picked it up as a regular thing in my TV viewing.

Then a few years ago (2 maybe??) there was a new version on a major network (I don't recall any details) and I gave it a try and wasn't very impressed.

I think I'll give this new one a try I've heard so many good things. But it might not be enough for me.

4. The American version of Doctor Who wasn't that good!

Thankfully it was only one TV movie.

7. This new series of Dr. Who is fabulous.

It's much different tone than BSG of course, but it's still great.
