Wow. "Buck Rogers" DVD set.
Half of it is kiddie cheeze, certainly, but some of it (particularly season 2 despite some trek knockoff moments) dares to be more.

It only lacked a target audience, which is what killd it off later on...

1. Two words (one probably misspelled): Hieronymous Fox
Of course, Sarek the head/body symbiote was a blast...

2. Anyone else remember that it started out as a big screen movie?
LOL

3. You know, I wondered about that.
I suppose I could have checked IMDB easily enough, but it was more fun to wonder.

One thing I do remember is that, after kicking TigerMan in the cluster and giving him the ol' bottom's up routine, Buck and Twiki beat feet off of Ardala's flagship, and Buck said "this magazine's about to blow" twice within about 30 seconds of screen time. I remember that it stood out as an editing mistake--even to my 7 or 8 year old brain--because I had never heard "magazine" in that context before.

Ah, memories.

4. I loved that show when I was a kid
when did it come out - like '79? I was like the perfect age for it at 12 going on 13.
