My friend who hates the new WHO series has just endorsed episodes 8-11. |
|
He said to ignore the first 7, but #8 onward he's given real praise for. "Human Nature" through "Utopia".
Has anybody else seen these?
And is it worth finding on the internet before sci-fi airs them?

I'm downloading ep. 12 now in fact.
I wholeheartedly agree with your friend, although there were some problems with Utopia it was still a good episode in my book. I can't wait to see if they blow it with the finale (The Sound of Drums and Last of the Time Lords).
One thing I should mention, like Bad Wolf in the first season, there are clues leading up to Utopia in this season throughout the prior 10 episodes.

2. I've heard some of the gimmicks for this season... |
|
But knowing the previous finales, "The Parting of the Ways" was an iffy and "Doomsday" was garbage... :7 with luck "The Last of the Time Lords" will be an improvement...

A friend in the States is a couple of eps ahead of me, thanks to the internet, and has also given thumbs-up to the later ones. So far it isn't bad (I've found that even in the episodes I didn't rave about, there are generally a few lines or performances that stand out -- the series is good that way).
