Anyone know of a science fiction novel/short story where people from the present
time travelled to prehistoric times and lived among the prehistoric people?

If so, please post--I'd like to read it.

1. John Varley's MAMMOTH
Also S. M. Stirling's Conquistador, though technically, it seems to involve travel to a parallel universe thousands of years behind ours.
