Anyone read Life as We Knew It?

It's a very disturbing post-natural-apocalyptic United States that might just be a metaphor for global climate change. And the president in the story is an idiot who retires to his ranch in Texas during the crisis period. Huh!

Anyway, it's a page-turner. I keep thinking about it, days after, especially when I visit the grocery store.
