I can never forgive him for Congo, much less his later whacked-out denial of global warming, but you're right that he gave us a number of entertaining reads.

My favorite will always be Jurassic Park..cause I loved Dinosaurs. But there were some others like The Andromeda Strain, Rising Sun, Timeline, Disclosure, Eaters of the Dead, Sphere, Congo, AirFrame, and others that gave me hours of enjoyment. I never got to read Prey, that should be on my list next...
The world has lost another fantastic author. I will miss him!
