Just finished the Dune prequel series |

I have to say, I enjoyed them a lot more than I thought I would - perhaps because while preserving the geopolitical maneuvering (galacti-political?), there's a great deal of action, character development, and twists that I never expected. I'll have to go back and re-read the Dune series now, especially since I never actually got past the third book, and it's been a couple decades since I've read Dune itself.

when the Bene Gesserit suddenly had the ability to turn themselves invisible. Too much.
The original series is one of my favourites. God Emperor is a fantastic book, almost equal to the original.
