So with summer in full swing, and looking back at the spring... |

here in N. Oklahoma, this has been an exceptionally productive year on our farm. We've had record crop of strawberries, raspberries, lavender and hay. Talking to a biology professor friend who attributes it to the uncommonly harsh winter we had. The plants had to go to full dormant during that winter then we followed with a long cool and wet spring. I don't know the reason, but its been a very very good garden/crop year so far.

But our crops here in East TN aren't doing so well. We've had record heat and little rain. I have to water every other day just to keep my tomatoes from wilting. It's a scorcher.
I'd post more but I got to go water.
