I laid around being lazy today. Mrs. alwynsw and I shared popcorn and movies all day.

About 4:00 P.M., I go to let the dog out. I opened the door to the back deck and what's staring me in the face but two deer! Being your usual country boy, I had a rifle near the back door.

Long story short: two more in the freezer. I was in my robe and slippers for the kill. Had to get dressed to go gut the things.

I have now been dubbed "Housecoat Hunter" by my bride. Since she helped a bit with the dressing and hauling, she is now my faithful sidekick, Fuzzy Slipper.

That sounds like the buck I killed last year...in my front yard at 7 AM filching apples from MY tree. I love the sound of broadheads in the morning.
