1. seen fly-fishing inside the Beltway

at Turkey Run Park off the GW Parkway, on the Potomac. Turkey Run - where the white suburban "down low" types go to meet others "in the life."

Anyway, if you hike a mile downhill from the parking lot, you reach a shallow sandy & rocky stretch of the Potomac. That's where I used to creek-fish for red bellied sunfish. I would watch the fly-fishing guys watch me reel 'em in & release 'em, one after the other, while the gawkers fussed with their casts . . .:evilgrin:
