The AMI 2006 Monetary Reform Conference came to a close and was againhailed as a wonderful experience by participants - attendees and speakers alike. The evaluation sheets are universally positive. Several speakers asked me how we brought such fascinating people together???
Well there is something about the field of monetary reform that helps to do that; and we make a conscious effort to achieve that result. (Its partly selfish - Since I'm going to spend 4 days with a group of people, I'll do my best to bring together live wires, and people who really have something to say!)
There were many highlights at the conference. Congressman Dennis Kucinich and his wife Elizabeth; Prof. Michael Hudson; Ed Chambers of the IAF; Charles Walters of Acres; our friends who came in from the UK
-
Ken Palmerton and James Gibb Stuart, the AMI Chapter people.
But describing just a few of them would be extremely unfair to the rest of the excellent presenters. So please visit
http://www.monetary.org/2006schedule.html to see the whole list including a description of their talks. And I suggest you order the audio CD's of the conference. All the speakers were professionally recorded and its now available on 4 CD's for immediate shipment (the order form is below). The sound quality is excellent. You can play them on any computer and on normal CD players. I've been listening to the speakers in the background as I'm working on my computer, and continue to gain some remarkable insights regarding money, and monetary reform, and building a reform movement, and much, much more. Just look at the fascinating subjects of the speakers!
